Questioning the effort and excess of a traditional Thanksgiving that still leaves you feeling empty? Want to try something a little different and maybe a lot more fun? How about coming together on Thanksgiving Day with fellow humans who are longing for a better world to build community and share a meal that's good for you and the planet?
This year Christ the Healer UCC is offering its annual all traditions Thanksgiving Day living food potluck, as a celebration of community and good plant food at our Climate Café venue in SW Portland, Hillsdale Community Church.
This is a potluck. Bring your favorite plant-based dish (cooked or raw) to share and/or organic ingredients to help create a gigantic communal salad. Bring your children, the inheritors of the earth, as we celebrate the earth's generosity and all those who care to share. Service ware, filtered water and dishes provided. Donations welcome!
