Your Consistory

Joyfully answering God’s call, and in the spirit of Christian community, your Consistory members serve and pledge to do their best:

  • to attend all regularly scheduled meetings

  • to perpare for meetings in advance; to participatie fully

  • to hold the Consistory duties as sacred and to treat fellow Consistory members with kindness and respect, knowing that we will not always agree on what to do or how to do it

  • to encourage members of the congregation to provide their input to the Consistory, and to actively encourage them to attend open meetings with welcome and enthusiastically

  • to follow up on tasks given in their role as Consistory members

  • to be courageous and direct in sharing with fellow Consistory members any concerns about the Consistory or the church, trusting always that God is working and speaking through each member.

    Your 2019 Consitory members are:

  • Jon VonBehern, Consistory President and acting treasurer

  • Margy Kleger, member at-large

  • Patti Brandon, member at-large, acting as Secretary

PLEASE NOTE: There are inconsistencies with the HCC Restated Bylaws from 2014: it states that your Consistory shall consists of 7 members with specific roles. There is a definition of who can serve on the Consistory.

We, as your Consistory members, are asking you to step up and serve your current congregation.
