Location

Our building is accessibly located on SW Capitol Highway in Portland. We’re just up the hill from Multnomah Village and only a few minutes from Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway, Barbur Boulevard and the I-5 freeway. We’re directly on the no. 44 bus line, and a short walk from stops serving the no. 45 and 1 lines.

Our upper parking (adjacent to Capitol Highway) has the capacity for ~ 50 cars, with room for overflow parking in the lower lot.

Our building is built on the hill and has two stories. The upper floor houses our Sanctuary, Narthex, Offices and Community Room/Library. The lower floor is where you’ll find the Fellowship Hall, Classrooms and Kitchen.

Covid-19

We have a wonderful team of volunteers who monitor the latest updates on the pandemic and best practices from the CDC. In the event of a surge in Covid cases, we’ll post updates here on our website about masking policies, and whether or not we’ll be meeting in person. During most of the pandemic, we met and worshipped exclusively on Zoom, but as of spring 2022 our services are hybrid Zoom/in-person. Masks and hand sanitizer are available in the Sanctuary and Office.

Accessibility

Most of our spaces are wheelchair accessible, and we have an elevator. We also have accessible bathrooms. Your comfort and safety are a priority for us while you’re spending time here. If you have questions please contact us.

Grounds

Our members volunteer to steward our grounds. Many of the plant species are native. During any season, you’re likely to see vibrant colors and wildlife. In the summer, this is the perfect place for a stroll or a lunch on the patio downstairs.

Since 2016, we’ve been delighted to host Crossroads Community Garden, which was developed through a partnership led by the Friends of Portland Community Gardens with Hillsdale Community Church, Stephens Creek Crossing and many community funders and volunteers.
