Bethel Church Offers Study and Prayer Opportunities

Bethel Congregational United Church of Christ is offering a prayer group on Thursday mornings during the season of Lent. Rev. Jean Doane will lead the group, which will pray for the joys and concerns of those present and the joys and concerns lifted up in worship and through Bethel’s prayer chain. Prayers will also encompass larger issues of peace and justice on the national and global fronts. The group meets March 5, 12, 19, and 26 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. in Bethel’s Chapel.

Rev. David Randall-Bodman will lead a book study on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 until 8:30—March 3, 10, 17, and 24—using Kent Nerburn’s book, Small Graces: Quiet Gifts of Everyday Life.

Bethel is located at 5050 SW Watson Ave., Beaverton. Call the church office at 503-646-1191 to learn more about these opportunities.
